Meet Our General Manager
Huw was born in Llanelli, South Wales and studied Music in Bath, Bristol and London. His first teaching post was at the Tiffin Boys School, Kingston Upon Thames, later moving to Chichester further to his appointment as Director of Music at Bishop Luffa School. After over thirty years teaching children in schools, working with choirs, instrumental groups and other musical genres, he is currently the Musical Director of the Solent Male Voice Choir, who were an established and regular user of the Pallant Centre. His other musical interests include composing and arranging for these groups as he takes on a busy role at the centre and really enjoys meeting all of our regular weekly users as well as all those within the wider St. Faiths church community, who provide a varied and different experience to each day at the centre.

Meet Our Assistant Manager
Hello, I’m Gemma! I joined the Pallant in November 2023. I’ve lived in the Havant area since I was very young. I attended both the local primary and middle school. Moving on to Chichester High and later the University of Westminster in London. Having spent several years working for large companies in London, I chose to return to Havant with my children.
I have loved coming back to this area and feel quite spoilt with the beautiful coastline and surrounding countryside we have on our doorstep. Having moved here with small children, the community and opportunities for families has been a lifeline.
I am very excited to become involved with the Pallant and look forward to helping create a thriving community space for all, within the Havant area

John Glassett has worked at the Pallant Centre for nearly 5 years. John is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the centre.
He has volunteered for St Faiths for many years and is a valued member of the team.
John supports many of the projects around the parish most recently helping to install the serving counter in the Pallant Warm room.
