A number of support and peer groups are available at the centre for a variety of ages.  SSAFA – the Armed Force Charity have been with us for decades.

Activities for people living with dementia

Dates: Tuesdays - Various Times

We are an independent charity, working to make Hampshire a county where people affected by dementia can live a good life, with opportunities to participate in and contribute to their communities and be valued for who they are.

1st Tuesday of the month 2.00-4.00pm -Mind the Gap- a group for those going through a dementia diagnosis or concerned about their memory.

2nd Tuesday – 2.00-3.30pm -Memory Choir

3rd Tuesday – 2.00-4.00pm- a group specifically for male carers

4th Tuesday – 10.30am-12.30pm – Mud Matters gardening session

Love to Move

Dates: Tuesdays 14:00

Love to Move is an age and dementia friendly programme specially designed to get older people moving and functioning better.

Developed by British Gymnastics, it helps people with dementia and assists preventing dementia by carefully integrating the use of gymnastic foundation skills, cognitive stimulation therapy and social interaction activities.

Mind: Children and Young Adults Safe Haven

Dates: Tuesdays to Thursdays 17:30 - 20:00
Children and Young People’s Safe Haven is open to all 11 to 17 year olds living in Havant, East and South East Hants. Just drop in for face-to-face mental health support. No need to book an appointment before attending.

SSAFA: Armed Forces Charity

Dates: Mondays and Fridays
09:00 - 12:00
SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is a trusted source of support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need.

Alcoholic Anonymous

Dates: Mondays 19:00 - 21:30

We are a group of women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that we may solve our common problem with alcohol and help others to recover from alcoholism.

If you seem to be having trouble with your drinking, if your drinking has reached the point of where it worries you or those around you, you may be interested to know something about Alcoholics Anonymous and the AA programme of recovery from alcoholism.

Al-Anon

Dates: Wednesdays 19:30-21:00
Al-Anon is about helping you to find solace with and support from others who have been affected by their relationship with a drinker.
We are a 12 step programme for families and friends of alcoholics.
We meet to share our experience, strength and hope.
Refreshments provided!

Cocaine Anonymous
(Women Only)

Dates: Wednesdays 19:00 - 21:00

Cocaine Anonymous (Women Only) is a fellowship of women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others do the same.
